  • Scotty Slaydon

    President/Director

    Scotty Slaydon is a 1988 honors graduate from Jackson College of Ministries and served as missionary to the country of El Salvador from 1989 to 2006. In El Salvador he supervised both a mobile medical clinic and a fixed location clinic. He has been involved in humanitarian ministry for 12 years in an organizational capacity as well as hands on involvement in more than 20 countries around the globe.

    In 2007 he was named Director of Compassion Services International and has served in that capacity until the present.


  • David Caruthers

    CFO/Treasurer

    David K. Caruthers is an ordained minister and has been pastor of Calvary Church of San Antonio since July 31, 2003. Pastor Caruthers graduated from Texas Bible College, Houston, Texas in 1984. He is also a Texas Certified Public Accountant and continues in private practice concentrating on minister, church, and not for profit accounting and taxes.  He has also served as the Chief Financial Officer of a grant funded workforce development firm and staff accountant at Texas Association of Counties, both Texas not for profit corporations.  He holds both a Master of Professional Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. 


  • Sandra Leaman

    Secretary

    Sandy serves alongside her husband as pastors of Saginaw Valley UPC. She currently serves as a case manager of workers compensation injuries that may or may not entail ergonomic issues with Fincor. Previously, managed a staff of five physicians, board certified occupational medicine, nursing staff of 31 employees and three clinical locations and served as the manager of workers compensation department, consisting of three employees to manager employee health of 4200 employees total. Sandy received her health care administration/management degree from Central Michigan University and her and her A.S. from Delta College.
