Past Projects You Have Funded

In the midst of the devastating hurricanes this summer and fall, CSI was presented with the opportunity to help replace a village shelter destroyed during a storm that is used by a Muslim convert to share his faith and help the people in the village with other needs. Your donations allowed the shelter to be rebuilt and the Gospel is being shared. This is having a tremendous impact on the local community.

CSI worked with missionary Dominguez in Peru to assist the people of Peru who were affected by major flooding earlier this year. More than 115,000 homes were destroyed. Many roadways were badly damaged and 117 bridges were washed out making travel dangerous. CSI has the opportunity to assist 6 churches that had significant damage to their buildings.Thank you for your support to help the people of Peru.

Sierra Leone and Hurricane Otto Relief Efforts

In August, devastating mudslides claimed the lives of hundreds of people. CSI was given the opportunity to assist 200 families with emergency relief. Thank you so much for giving to help these families.

Hurricane Otto made landfall just before 1:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving day and some areas reported 15 inches of rainfall. CSI worked to send funds to some of the smaller communities in Costa Rica to help with food relief, clothing and repairs to homes and churches. Your gifts also assisted 13 families in the Dominican Republic who were affected by flooding with food relief, beds and clothing.

Liberia Medical Clinic/Peru

Thank you for supporting the effort to repair the roof on the Liberia medical clinic. This clinic serves hundreds of people of each week. Earlier this year the roof was leaking so badly the clinic was in danger of being shut down until the repairs could be made. You answered the call for help and the roof was repaired and the clinic remained open.

CSI worked with missionary Dominguez in Peru to assist those affected by major flooding earlier this year. CSI had the opportunity to assist six churches that had significant damage to their churches and to provide food, water and other personal items to those affected by the floods.

Clean Water

After the earthquake in Nepal, CSI was able to provide a water filtration system to earthquake victims. This simple system can provide a family 150 gallons of clean water a day. While this isn't a long-term solution, in areas where they do not have access to clean water, these filtration systems are lifesavers in the aftermath of disaster. You can supply a system for $50.00.
